Fire Safety Plans
A fire safety plan helps to ensure your building has the necessary safety systems, equipment and procedures to protect people from fire. It is the owner's responsibility to ensure that the information in the fire safety plan is accurate and complete.
It’s a document required by Section 2.8 of the Ontario Fire Code, designed by the building owner or retained specialist, to identify the actions that should be taken by the occupants and building management in the event of a fire or similar emergency situation. As a building owner, manager, or other person with control of the building you are legally required to have a fire safety plan prepared in compliance with the Ontario Fire Code.
Fire-Alert HHM (Halton Hills & Milton) can work with you and build your plan, and provide Fire Safety Plans Boxes.
